The Designation of Origin Rueda wine region is located on the banks of the Duero River, some 150 kilometres from Madrid. This wine-growing region has the same approximate latitude as the D.O. Ribera del Duero and produces dry and aromatic white wines. Most of the wines are produced from Verdejo grapes.
