Arano 95 points Suckling

16 Dec 2021

Good news to the first vintage of our wine made in Moradillo de Roa (Ribera del Duero). Arano 95 points Suckling who describes the wine as “Cherries, orange peel and blackberries. Full-bodied with exquisitely refined tannins that are polished like silk. It’s so persistent and beautiful at the finish. Wonderfully crafted.”

Arano is made in Bela, our winery in Ribera del Duero, bought by CVNE years ago to reflect the vineyard and bring that traditional CVNE finesse. With Arano we want to reflect our vineyard of Moradillo de Roa, from Ribera del Duero. Years ago we bought a vine and a winery in Villalba. We had the raw material, but we wanted to do something different with it. We dedicated the time to study and characterises the vine of Villalba, rejecting what we did not like and classifying the plots. The Arano label is facsimile of one of CVNE´s label from 1910. We seek for refinement and finesse in our wines, hence the name has a female touch. It’s an honor to get with Arano 95 points Suckling in its first harvest.
